Happy 1/2 Birthday Kellan Ray!

Dear Kellan,

You are 6 months old today! It seems like just yesterday I spent 5 long days in the hospital, three of which we were waiting on you. Even though it seemed like an eternity for you to get here it was worth every second. Time has sure sped up since you entered our lives, I can't believe how much you have grown and changed in the past 6 months.

You are the funniest, most cuddly, sweet baby, and such a blessing to daddy and I. Our life has been a whirl wind of laughter, learning, and love since you made your debut and I wouldn't change one second of it! Happy 6 months Kellan, and do mommy a favor and slow the next 6 down a little bit, I'm not sure I can handle a 1st birthday yet. :)

End of Summer :(

The dreaded time has come to go back to school. I love teaching, and my students and co-workers and usually the sight of back to school items in the store gets me all excited for the year to come, buttttttt this year I have an adorable 5 month baby boy that I have spent my entire summer with. I know he will be fine with my mom and the babysitter, but the question is will I? haha. He is just so cuddly, and those cheeks! They are soooo kissable. Ok enough, but really I'm a little sad. On a more positive note.. I am excited for what this school year may bring. I have TONS of fun ideas to try out with the kiddos. 
Well I'm going to try to stretch out the weekend and savor every minute with the fam. Have a great weekend!

New at this...

This is my first time blogging.. well kinda. I started this thing back in February but I was 9 months pregnant and everything I wrote sounded whiny and hormonal so I decided to delete it.  Life got a little more interesting (and busy) in March so despite wanting to start a blog I haven't found time until now. So.. here goes nothing, I will try not to bore you, and if I do... then don't follow me! haha
